“She deserves a gorgeous body.”

When 18-year-old Charity Caldwell dies in what seems to be a tragic accident, the small town of Rabbithole Hills is shocked.

But not as shocked as Denver is when the dripping pink specter floats down through her ceiling, demanding she build her a perfect new body.

Help perfect victim Denver try to impress her favorite tormentor with the hottest, sexiest, baddest new body she could possibly have. Sure, it won't be as good as her old one, but you'll get it as close to perfect as possible, right? Just for her?

Build-A-Bully is a (loosely erotic) horror visual novel about the worst girls you'll meet in High School, 22k+ words in length, with 24 regular CGs, one CG with six different variations, and 60 sprites total.

Deeply unpleasant vn, but I couldn't put it down. It's sad getting to know a lot about the girls before they're inevitably killed by us. Nikki and Maria are both really good at being sympathetic characters, and even though Denver is grossed out by Gina I found her to be a decently understandable awkward horny teen. All the girls are too trusting of Denver (especially gina please gina I know you're desperately horny but please have more self preservation) but since it's a way to move the plot along I don't really see it as personal character flaws

I know Charity didn't supply a bolt gun or any other semi-humane way of going for the brain efficiently since she doesn't care are being merciful, but I kept yelling at Denver to at least cut their large arteries while they're still unconscious so they'd hopefully bleed out before waking up. Clearly preserving the "freshness" of the blood in their limbs doesn't matter since we don't even get any details on how the body parts are being preserved....

Denver seemed to grow to like killing more over time, but simultaneously hated them screaming and fighting back, so you'd think after the first time she would have been more efficient. Well, she's meant to be sloppy and deeply flawed, and it make the murders even more impossible to stomach as ignorable or tolerable, so it makes a good lasting impression

What's better than pink danganronpa blood? SPARKLEY pink blood ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I feel like there's some sort of theme that could be made out of how we're introduced to Charity verbally picking apart these girls' bodies and personalities, and it's easy to grow numb to it as classic maladjusted teenager stuff that Charity would, hopefully, grow out of in time (although she'll be forever responsible for the damage she caused). And then during the murder scenes, she makes Denver literally pick them apart, and Denver even gets in on the complaining with how hard it is to cut into certain areas and scoffing at their involuntary reactions. Some kind of objectification parallel....

thanks for making something!

Imagine a world where Dr. Frankenstein was a total pushover of a socially awkward young woman, and her grand dream was to defy death and resurrect a brat with a personality so thoroughly vapid and nasty that you'd swear her "accidental" death was 100% a murder (and that you've half a mind to buy the guy who did it a beer)...

Oh, how cruel this VN is~  To string you along with all of these different cute girls, letting you get to know them and showing you all these glimpses of who they are beneath the surface—only to then show you, in cold, unflinching detail, how they look beneath the surface, heh heh heh.  Your writing made my heart warm and then made my stomach churn, and the experience is absolutely all the stronger for it~

I also very much respect that you took the time to make so many different CGs for all of the variations, both for the different cuts when getting parts and for the resulting endings!  Choosing to gate the good ending behind making Denver eat was diabolical, by the way, heheheheh~

Great work across the board!  Denver is far better to Charity than she'll ever deserve, but hey, this is a toxic yuri story, so little details like "deserving" and "fairness" don't matter too much, now do they~?

i feel personally kinda conflicted about this game and how it made me feel. i wanted to enjoy it as a cheesy b-movie horror, but the dating segments were really cute and made me like the girls that were doomed by the narrative, which just made it heartwrenching. i wonder about our certified weird girl denver, was she actually evil and emotionless from the start, or was it all charity's influence/possession? then again, she doesn't seem very remorseful in the end, was it also because of charity? really makes you think. it's definitely a very toxic dynamic though it doesn't really feel very yuri until late in the game.

fun idea for the gameplay, though it took me a little bit to figure out how to get any other ending than neutral (but i am not smart).

really sharp art, liked both the cgs and sprites a lot.

i applaud see the efforts of my fellow shipwreckers, i hope there will be another crossroads interactive release one day! also what did denver mean by looking up how to carry people on her phone in 2006? *thinking emoji*

thank you for answering the important question (definitely more important than how did charity die in the first place - this one remains a fun mystery, or does it...?)

this game was so much fun, I played it through 3x in one day to get all the different endings. i really loved all the characters <3

this game made me think i liked hurting people. got what i believe to be the neutral ending and i'm content with it for now. at some point definitely gonna replay for the "bad" ending just to spite charity though hehe >:3

Thank you so so much for playing! It means the world for people to take time out of their schedule to check out our game. I hope that you enjoy the other endings if you decide to go back for them—they're a lot! Big big thanks from Crossroads Interactive ✨✨
